Advanced Calcium Modification and Precision Imaging in Complex LAD Intervention

Treated a middle-aged male presenting with angina and severe, heavily calcified LAD stenosis. Given the high risk of complications and restenosis associated with calcified lesions, an atherectomy device was used for calcium modification. Boston Scientific intravascular imaging was employed for precision sizing and procedural optimization. The LAD was successfully stented with an excellent result. A staged procedure is planned for the heavily calcified RCA.
