Today we had the privilege of performing a complex coronary case on a young patient with a 100% chronic total occlusion (CTO) of the coronary artery—previously deemed untreatable.
We were honored to collaborate with Dr. Makoto from Japan, a renowned expert in CTO interventions. Together, we successfully performed a PCI to the LAD using a retrograde approach. The procedure went smoothly, and the patient made an excellent recovery, being discharged the very next day.
